Made in China

Not sure when David snapped this photo in the past few days, but since it is my new made-in-China haircut, it has to have been in the last few days.

I'm back!

Had a great trip to China with Matt and Molly. Hardy had a good time staying home with David, and getting a daily walk from our neighbor's brother, who was visiting from North Carolina. He turns 6 months old this Tuesday. Hard to believe he fit inside that pet carrier, under the seat in front of me, on that flight back from Phoenix.

41 pounds

Hardy weighs 41 pounds. He was under 15 pounds when I brought him home. Wow.

A bit of warning that Molly's graduation from Stanford is this weekend, and then Matt, Molly and I fly to China for 10 days, so there will be no more blog entries after tonight until at least the 27th. Hardy is coming with us for graduation, but David and Hardy are driving home Monday and will hang out in PVE.

New Movie

After posting those nice clean-machine pictures yesterday, Hardy played at Ira and Mary's with Sunny and got totally filthy. Hooray for Samoyeds - you just brush them out and all is well. Before dinner, while he was nice and hungry, we did a little practice and made a movie. We haven't done much practicing, preferring to leave it to Anna-the-professional.

Clean machine

There are only so many pictures of Hardy with a bully stick, or Hardy sleeping, or Hardy gazing at me from a cute position that any one viewer can stand. So I've been absent from the blogsphere. I also happened to have been in Las Vegas at a wedding with Matt. David and Hardy did super duper without me.

But I took him to Tidy Dogs today and gave him a bath. His coat is really lovely, and he's getting the nice silvery tips at the end. He has also been getting up in the morning, and deciding to keep his tail up during much of his walk. Anyway, here he is, fresh from Marcia-the-groomer-not.
