We had a power outage yesterday from about 4:30 until 7:30 last night. I didn't think to reset the sprinklers until it was too late for me to fix before work. They went off in the afternoon today, and the puppies had fun playing in them - specially Taylor!
Hooray for Hardy! He got Winner's Dog and Best of Winners, so he got a 3 point major. Here are a bunch of pictures. I'm still adjusting to this camera (not very well; guess I should actually read the manual - what do you think??)
The show site was really, really pretty. Loved it there. Tracy did her best to try to make Taylor look like she had coat, but, as Heather said, "Oh, I know you said she was naked, but she's really naked!" I snapped some photos anyway.
We have a new camera and tried to take some pix when I got back from the trip to the self-wash. Can't really tell from this photo that she is naked, but oh well.
I bathed Taylor because she has no coat, and is small enough for me to handle, and is SO GOOD during baths. Here are a couple of photos of Meadow that I thought were cute.
Hardy showed today and took reserve. Many thanks to Sandy Torres who came to my rescue when Carlos was still showing Mickey to a slow judge, and Hardy needed to be shown to a FAST judge. I was scrambling, so forgot to take pictures. I was practicing with the new camera at the set up, so here are two funny pictures I took of Hardy and Mickey.
After we got home, Hardy needed a nap, so Taylor joined him (she had stayed home with David.) I chatted with Kristi, who was still camping at their home in Colorado; too much snow took out their electricity, and they were on day 3, waiting for it to come back on. Then I took pooches for a walk. Video below that shows I can do two at once, even though Hardy is a 44 Long, and Taylor is a 2 Petite.
Had a fun day with SCOC. Several members came over and we walked along the bluffs. It was specially fun to see the pups all together playing in the back yard. There were 10 sams in all, so be sure to look at the photos near the bottom of this post, to get an idea of what it was like.
Also, there's a link to a whole bunch more photos from Judy Tong, our club's president and fellow hiker. The link shows right above the video.
Passover weekend, and Matt came home for 24 hours. His girlfriend, Elka, brought some photos so I'm putting them up here, since family checks here now and then. The photo on the Segway has Peter Harbison in it, as well. Matt, Peter and Elka toured San Diego on the rented Segways one weekend when Peter came to visit.
I added photos we took on Passover. Matt's friend, Con, who was his freshman year roommate at Pomona is in a photo with Molly.
