Taylor's Win Photo from Ventura

The win photo came. Rich Bergman did a really nice job.

23 Seconds of Lompoc

Such a pretty show site. Here is 23 seconds of Taylor and Carlos.

Taylor's Sunday in Lompoc

Taylor got Best of Winners today, but she didn't win a point, as there was just Taylor competing against Patron. Sarge won Best of Breed both yesterday and today, and there is a post right before this one with a bunch of photos of Sarge (his grandpa is Taylor's daddy, so that makes us relatives :) ) and a couple of Patron. A couple of the photos are of me, all dressed up. There was a slim chance I'd have to show, and fortunately I didn't have to. But it was fun to dress up.

Sarge, Patron and Sassy in Lompoc

Here are a bunch of photos of John and Claire, Anna, Brooklyn and Sarge. There's also one of Anne, Sarge, Trina and Sassy, and a couple of Marie with Patron. Sassy is SO pretty. She is Cindy's girl, CH Sassy Bronze Dancer (I think that's right.)

Lunch in Solvang

We ate at our favorite restaurant in Solvang, with my friend Cindy Fleenor and her daughter Janelle. My other friend Clu joined us, and we had a lovely afternoon with a nice breeze and 3 sams, as Cindy brought Dancer along. Dancer fell in love with Taylor, so there are some fun photos of the two of them under the table.

Taylor looks great in Lompoc

We didn't expect this judge to do anything for us, but came anyway because we love Lompoc, nearby Solvang, and my friends Cindy and Clu, so we made the trip. Taylor was the only girl there, which wasn't quite the plan - thought there would be one other. She showed great and got a beautiful rosette for getting Best of Opposite Sex, but she was the only one of the opposite sex today.

Sleezy Hotel (read: Motel) in Lompoc

Well, the website was beautiful and back when they shot the photos, it may well have been, but I'm here to tell you that the White Oaks Hotel is nothing like its website. It DOES however offer free wifi, which is great, and I had a yummy, fresh scone for breakfast, though their site didn't mention breakfast was included, and there is TONS of grass at nearby businesses for the doggies, the room is big, we could park literally in front of the unit, and it has a fridge and microwave. So here we are.

Taylor loved the chair in the corner. Hardy likes to look out the window, and hide his head under the curtains.
