Meeting for the first time

Well, here we are at last.

Ah... a fascinating video of Hardy eating a tree at Susan Davies's house, where he stayed with 5 of his brothers and sisters.

After playing hard for some time, he got pretty dusty and dirty, so Kristi gave him a bath. He's had lots of them, so he didn't complain at all. We readied ourselves to leave, and then I put him in his carrier for the plane. When we got in the car, and seat-belted in, he screamed bloody murder for hours. Well, it was really only 60-90 seconds, but it seemed like forever. He then didn't make a single peep the next 4 hours on our journey back to the rental car lot, from the lot to the airport, through security, onto the plane, under the seat, out from under the seat, under the seat again... all the way home. What a total sweetpea.
