Hardy and Carlos worked together in Del Mar. He looked good, but not the judge's type of Sam. That's ok - it was good practice and I got to hear a lot of fun stories about Carlos's first year in the USA. It was just Carlos and me this morning, since he just had Hardy, Hector and Mickey today. We were both suffering from colds, so we shared some coffee and I learned more about my friend and handler. We really appreciate his kindness and insight, knowledge and good nature.
I would like you to note the smushed up oriental against the front door. Hardy likes to hide things under our rugs, digs and digs at them, and ... um... that particular rug is missing a bit of fringe from when he was quite a bit younger. This photo was from this evening, while we were watching the Academy Awards.
